Zhu You (Mantra)

Zhu You is a Qi healing method involves the use of sound. Chinese ancients found its hard to transmit the Qi to others directly from the universe. Thus, there’re lots of Zhu You practitioners, but only a few can achieve great results.

But once the Qi is gathered by a master from the universe, he or she is able to release Qi and transmit the energy and Tao within it to others through mantra for body-spirit healing or Tao harmonizing.

In ancient times, Zhu You was included in the Imperial Medical Bureau of various dynasties as part of official Chinese medical system.

Zhu You is an ancient mystical Taoist Qi therapy of Southern China. The 2,000-year-old TCM bible "The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon" states, Zhu You can only be practiced with the ability of Yi-Jing-Bian-Qi ." Zhu You employed prayer, mantra, incantations, talismans, gestures to reveal the disorder ranging from the blockage in meridians or emotional traumas.

Ancient Zhu You Case: Miao Fu

Liu Xiang from Han dynasty recorded a Zhu You master (named Miao Fu) in his book of “Shuo Yuan·Bian Wu”. The book mentioned that Miao Fu’s Zhu You therapy is quite unique.

He would pick up a grass dog doll and face it to the north when a patient came. Then he started chanting words in his mouth but with no more ten words each time. As the result, the patient was recovered immediately no matter how ill he or she was.
